What personal data may be processed when you visit galert.ro and what rights you have.
This document explains how personal data is processed in connection with the galert.ro presentation website, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Romanian law.
It applies only to the presentation Website. Personal-data processing inside a GALERT deployment used by a security company is governed separately by the agreement with that company, which acts as controller for data relating to its own customers and monitored sites.
The controller for the Website is the rights holder of the GALERT platform.
If you email or call us, we process the information you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, company name and message content. We use it to respond and, where relevant, to prepare a product presentation or commercial discussion.
The Website is delivered through Cloudflare infrastructure. Technical and security logs may include information such as IP address, browser and operating-system type, requested page and request time. These data support content delivery, security and abuse prevention.
The Website does not use advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies. Cloudflare may load a technical performance beacon, including for Core Web Vitals measurement. We do not use it to profile individual visitors. We do not sell or rent personal data to advertisers and we do not make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on Website visitors.
Romanian and English versions use separate URLs. Choosing a language does not require storing a preference in localStorage or sessionStorage.
Commercial correspondence is retained for the duration of discussions and afterwards for as long as there is a legitimate business, contractual or legal reason to keep it. Technical security logs are retained according to the hosting and security provider’s operational policies and applicable requirements.
Data may be processed by infrastructure providers such as Cloudflare for Website delivery and by the email provider used for correspondence. Where providers process data outside the European Economic Area, transfers are made under GDPR-compliant safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or other applicable mechanisms.
Data may also be disclosed to public authorities when required by law.
Subject to the conditions of the GDPR, you may have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection to processing based on legitimate interests and withdrawal of consent where consent is the legal basis.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP) and to seek judicial remedies.
The Website is delivered over encrypted HTTPS connections. Reasonable technical and organisational measures are applied to protect data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure.
The Website is intended for professionals in the security sector. It is not directed to children and we do not intentionally collect data about persons under 16 through this presentation Website.
